All the lenses
Ultra wide, wide, tele, and the front camera — switch from the iPhone or from the Mac while it is streaming.
CamMicLink
CamMicLink streams the camera and microphone of an iPhone or iPad to your Mac over your own network — then hands them to any app through a virtual camera and a virtual microphone.
iPhone and iPad: iOS 17 or later · Mac: macOS 14 or later
Works with Zoom · Microsoft Teams · Google Meet · OBS · QuickTime · FaceTime
What it does
Not a webcam utility with a phone strapped on. The capture side is a proper camera app.
Ultra wide, wide, tele, and the front camera — switch from the iPhone or from the Mac while it is streaming.
From a light 360p stream up to the camera's native resolution, with 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1 framing.
The microphone is passed through at full quality, so calls and recordings sound like the phone, not like a codec.
A system camera extension registers CamMicLink as a normal camera, so Zoom, Meet, OBS and QuickTime just see it.
CamMicLink Microphone is a small audio component — a signed Core Audio driver that appears as a normal microphone. It is a separate download, because the Mac App Store sandbox cannot install system audio drivers.
Capture, effects and streaming all stay on your devices and your LAN. No account, no cloud, no analytics.
Setup
After that it is just two apps finding each other on the same Wi-Fi.
One purchase covers the iPhone and the Mac. CamMicLink appears in your purchased apps on both.
Open both apps. The Mac finds the iPhone over Bonjour — no IP address to type, no pairing code.
Choose CamMicLink Camera as the camera and CamMicLink Microphone as the microphone in whatever app you are using. The microphone needs the audio component installed once.
Effects

Pricing
Everything below is an in-app purchase through your Apple account. Prices in USD.
A complete tool, not a demo. Good enough for a quick call.
$9.99 once, if you would rather not renew. Cancel the yearly plan any time in your Apple settings.
Already own some lifetime items? The app shows you a discounted upgrade price instead.
A yearly plan renews automatically until you cancel it in your Apple account settings. A lifetime purchase never expires, and covers future fixes.
Universal Purchase: buying on the iPhone unlocks the Mac app as well, not the other way round — there is no separate Mac price.
New Mac? Restore purchases sits on the purchase screen and brings back everything tied to the Apple account you are signed in with.
Privacy
CamMicLink has no servers to send anything to. Video and audio travel directly between your iPhone and your Mac on your own Wi-Fi; face detection, face tracking and voice effects all run on the device. Read the privacy policy →
FAQ
Yes. CamMicLink has two roles: the iPhone or iPad captures, the Mac receives. One purchase covers both apps.
No, and by design. The two devices talk directly over the same local network. Nothing is relayed through a server, so nothing works from a hotel Wi-Fi back to your desk.
The virtual microphone needs a small audio driver, because macOS only lets system audio components live outside the app sandbox. It is one signed and notarized package, one administrator password, no restart: download the CamMicLink audio component. The virtual camera is part of the app itself.
Virtual cameras on macOS are system extensions, so the first time you enable CamMicLink Camera, macOS asks for approval in System Settings → Login Items & Extensions. It is a one-time step.
Any device with a TrueDepth camera — iPhone X or later. On devices without one, the option is disabled rather than shown and broken.
VIP unlocks video quality and audio quality. The three packs unlock effects. SVIP unlocks all of it, plus anything paid added later. Packs and VIP can be combined freely.
Both are handled by Apple. A yearly plan renews automatically until you cancel it in your Apple account settings; lifetime purchases never expire. Refunds are requested from Apple, not from me — but email me if something is broken and I will help.
It is in review for the App Store. Get in touch if you want to be told when it ships.
Install it on the iPhone and the Mac, open both, and pick CamMicLink in whichever app needs a camera.
